Adrienne Raquel is a photographer and creative director based in New York City.
Raquel focuses on capturing stunning images of women of color in fashion. She believes that what sets her apart is carrying her vision throughout everything she does, whether that’s online or in real life.
Raquel's work is inspired by femininity, soulfulness, and color. It is rooted in nostalgia and fantasy while remaining fresh and contemporary. She has had exhibitions at Aperture’s New Black Vanguard, Jeffrey Deitch: Shattered Glass Miami, and Mickalene Thomas’ Better Nights at Miami’s Bass Museum. Her first solo exhibition, ONYX, was on view at Fotografiska New York in 2021. It highlighted the artistic balance of exotic dancing, athleticism, and sisterhood at one of Houston, TX’s most famous nightclubs.
She is represented by SN37 and has worked with clients such as Apple, Savage Fenty, Pat McGrath Labs, YSL Beaute, Dior, Bacardi, Rare Beauty, Bacardi, Amazon, Nike, Beats By Dre, and has appeared on the covers of Vanity Fair, V Magazine, GQ, Numero Berlin, and Interview Magazine.
