The Duplication function on Squarespace is a great way to reuse existing pages, sections, blocks, posts, products or events.
Duplicating a Squarespace block is a quick and easy way to add new content to your site without having to start from scratch. To duplicate a block, simply hover over the block you want to duplicate and click the Duplicate button that appears in the top-right corner. Once you’ve duplicated a block, you can move it to another location on your page by clicking and dragging it.
To duplicate a specific block or copy multiple contents, you can now also use keyboard shortcuts and duplicate blocks onto different pages of your site. To duplicate a block with keyboard shortcuts you can follow these steps:
Step 1: In the Editor, click on the block you want to copy.
Step 2: With the block selected, press Control + C (on a PC) or Command + C (on a Mac) to copy the block.
Step 3: Then, go to the location (page, post, etc.) where you want to paste the block and press Control + V (on a PC) or Command + V (on a Mac) to paste it.
With Squarespace Fluid Engine, you can now move, layer and resize your duplicated blocks, giving you the tools to add depth to your site.
